3rd in outdoor track and 2nd in XC and then they cut the program? Did manage to keep the football program that probably can't beat North Allegheny.

The talent that encompasses this team will be lost if the Men's Cross Country/Track and Field Program were eliminated.

My track team was cut from Clarion University. Good luck, hopefully someone wises up and realizes cutting these programs only hurts the school and the athletes, not helps. Good Luck RMU!

I had friends who lost their chance to compete when JMU cut many of their sports programs. It was really rough on them. As someone who had the opportunity to compete for 4 years in college I would want all athletes to be able to compete at the school of their choice. Would it be possible to help offset costs through other fund raising means?

As a local high school cross country coach and parent of a student at RMU, I do not like to see the cheapest sports to run being cut.

I was a thrower for Penn State University, but had many friends on the RMU Track and Field team. I have fond memories of competing against and side by side with these athletes. It is a shame that athletes in the future will not get that opportunity through RMU.
