Gentlemen,

As a current Osteo Bi-flex user I must alert you to a potentially harmful & totally unnecessary ingredient in your supplement. Titanium Dioxide, the additive is classified as “possible carcinogenic to humans” by the International Agency for Research on Cancer and the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health. Studies show that titanium dioxide causes adverse effects by producing oxidative stress, resulting in cell damage, redness, and immune response.

Titanium’s Effect on Your Brain

Titanium exposure may be harmful to your brain. Titanium nano particles can enter directly into the hippocampus region of the brain through the nose and olfactory bulb. Research conducted by Escuela Superior de Medicina at Instituto Politécnico Nacional found that titanium dioxide had a toxic effect on glial cells in the brain, suggesting that exposure to titanium dioxide may cause brain injury and be a health hazard.

Long-term chronic exposure and environmental pollution are not documented and a relationship between nano particle exposure and development of degenerative brain diseases may exist. [5]

Now it’s bad enough we have to use this in sunscreen & other such pharmaceuticals, also gum, candy & foodstuff. But a joint supplement? Seriously, this additive is paint dye, entirely unnecessary as a supplement additive. I take Osteo Bi-flex because it works on my joints, not because the pills are “bright” white.

In closing, Gentlemen, I assure if you drop this unnecessary & potently harmful additive, inform your customers & state your product is now free of unnecessary dyes & additives. The response will be positive, or I’ll eat my hat.

Thank you.

Sincerely,

C. Mitchell
