Lefty has been a victim of the Len Bias tragedy. Perhaps I don't know all of the facts, but I believe lefty appropriately counseled his team.

As a Norfolk native and as Lefty was graduated from my father’s high school (Granby), I learned as a kid to appreciate his immense coaching talent. Hoping Lefty achieves additional well-earned recognition.

I worked in the Davidson Basketball Office when Lefty was Head Coach. His ability as coach, motivator, and a caring person was evident on a daily basis.
