I strongly believe in the mission and vision of American Nonprofits to develop the American Nonprofit Federal Credit Union and create a network focused on capital markets for nonprofits, financial management in nonprofits, and the role of finance in nonprofit strategy.

My previous experience managing the day-to-day operations a several nonprofits, my national committee work, and my current experience as a nonprofit finance professor make me an excellent candidate for American Nonprofits Board of Directors.

I've also previously served on the national committees of the Nonprofit Workforce Coalition, Nonprofit Leadership Committee of the Nonprofit Congress, the Ethics Standards Committee of the Standards for Excellence Institute. I was an advisory board member for the Institute for Nonprofit Education and Research at the University of San Diego and I co-founded YNPN San Diego.
