We currently have a third grader, second grader and next year a Kindergartner at William Yates. We have chosen to buy a home within the William Yates boundaries specifically because the experience my kids have had under the leadership of Mrs. Dunn, her staff and the Leader in Me program are far more valuable to us than saving a few bucks on a home purchase. What William Yates has is special and Mrs. Dunn is a 1 in a million administrator. Our hope is that you will re-consider and let us all see where this winning combination can take our kiddos!

Our daughter attended William Yates K-5th grade. Both of our sons are now also WYE Bulldogs. They not only love their school...they are thriving there! We love Principal Dunn and have stayed in the Blue Springs district specifically so that our children could attend William Yates under her leadership. She is a tremendous blessing to not only our school, but to us personally.

My wife and I have our son currently attending Yates. We adopted him last year and Mrs. Dunn has been a great blessing in helping our son transition to a new school. He doesn't handle change well because of all that he has been through in his life up to this point and he has really made a great change in his life due to Mrs. Dunn's involvement in his life. Mrs. Dunn and the leader in me program are the main reasons we have placed our son at Yates and not at a private school. We have chosen to live in the Blue Springs School district so that our son can attend Yates and be under Mrs Dunn's leadership. We as a family are very disappointed that she will not be at Yates anymore.

My wife and I have three kids. My oldest completed all 6 years at William Yates (4 of which were under Mrs. Dunn,s leadership) and my two boys are currently attending Yates. We have considered moving several times but have not done so mainly because of our love for the school and especially our Principal. We as a family are very disappointed that she is leaving. She has been an incredible blessing to us!

My daughter Natalie is starting Kindergarten there this Fall. We chose to move into a new house within the district so that she could attend William Yates under Principal Dunn.
Mrs. Dunn is an incredible principal.
