This is my first compliant and dissatisfaction with BS school district. Mrs. Dunn is a phenomenal educator and loves her kids at that school. Completely ridiculous that she is being moved.

I have a grandson that has behavioral issues and is emotionally connected to Ramona. She has done a wonderful job with him, it would be a major setback for her to be removed.

They really need to stop changing the principals up in the district. When the school is working, why change it again and again. A new principal throws tthe entire year for a loop. Please stop "fixing" what is not broken in the Blue Springs schools.

As a WYE parent for the past 8 years, I have witnessed firsthand the transformation of our school. William Yates is THRIVING under Mrs. Dunn's amazing leadership. We love her dearly and want her to stay!

Ramona Dunn has been a great leader and teacher to WYE and to change now would be a downfall to the WYE school, teachers, children and growth of the leadership program that she has worked so hard for.

I sp civically selected my house in Blue Springs district. Then to my wonderful surprise God blessed our family with the leader in me program. I had the opportunity to sell my house and leave WYE. No way. I love the family feel. This starts at the top with Mrs. Dunn. I can't imagine not having her. I'm sure the other school, parents, teachers, and families feel the same about losing their principal. Please don't make this change. It's devastating.

I currently have 4 kids at Wye one in 5th grade one in 3rd grade and two in 2nd grade, I was their when we had a different principle and it was just an ok school. When mrs.dunn came in for the first year changed the whole schools attitude! She has brought life into wye! The leadership program wouldn't be in place with out her, in saying that home life changed completely!! I have had kids with behavior issues and the leadership program has truly changed our life and with out mrs.dunn our life wouldn't be as easy as it is now. She has taught all my kids to be amazing public speaking leaders when I had shy kids!! She taught them to be confident and just make a difference in the world just like leaders should be doing!! We would love to have her stay at wye to continue working with all the kids (she knows them all by name, who does that, a principal who loves the kids) I have been in a lot of schools (part of my job) I have never seen a principal like Ramona Dunn!!

Mrs. Dunn needs to stay. I'm not saying this to just say it. She has been a great asset to the staff, to the students, and to the parents. With emphasis being placed on the students, I believe that the last I checked, the students are who we need to be concerned with the most. The school has a lot of events that are constantly going on and a lot of times Mrs. Dunn is there. I have been up to the school many times through the years to eat lunch with my daughter and she is extremely friendly. I have even been there when she is talking with a student for discipline issues. Any student that attends WYE are HER students and kids. Mrs. Dunn is a true example of a leader and isn't that what is being taught in the Leader In Me program? Every year I am constantly seeing drastic improvement in WYE. I cannot boast enough about the school, the staff, and Mrs. Dunn. If it isn't broken, why fix it? Bottom line, if there is no reason to move an asset then don't move that asset. Mrs. Dunn is a true asset.

My daughter has thrived under Mrs. Dunn's leadership. I am confident the reason for her success and love for school is because of the leadership provided by Mrs. Dunn. There are not many principals who know their students by name when you register for kindergarten. My daughter had that privilege and I would hate to see Mrs. Dunn relocated when she has so much more to offer these children who have gone through such formative years with her. I understand there can always be legitimate reasons for leadership to change, but I would ask as well, that if at all possible Mrs. Dunn remains at WYE so my daughter and other students can continue to grow into upstanding young adults with her guidance and leadership.
