All 4 of my children attended BwC from pre-k to 8th grade. It's a wonderful place with caring teachers and staff members. Two of my children are about to start graduTe school in the fall, and two are about to graduate from college in May. They clearly got a wonderful start at BwC.please keep this school open!

Please keep the school open. It's a shame to take away the stability that children have come to know. For some, the school may be the only stability they have in their lives.

I was extremely fortunate to sharpen my teaching skills at BWCCS. The philosophy was unique from the public school and franchise charter system. Instead of test prepping our children we focused on educating the whole child, which meant exposing them to the arts, hands on science explorations, celebrating all cultural events, explorations in and out of NYC. Unfortunately the corporate hand that managed our school thought that these kids did not need anything else but test prep and undermined the authority of principals who tried to go against their agenda. The administrators who they hand picked were underqualified and came in specifically to break the teachers union, demean the teaching staff, and bankrupt the school. Unfortunately the intentional damage caused by the machinations of the dull and ignorant, will take time to be undone. Please give the dedicated staff
and students of one of he first charter schools in New York the time they need to undo the injustice of the past. Keep the school open.

I have been a part of this school family for 17 years. It would be a real shame if we did not open in September. Every single facet of the school Community is integral to its long-standing and prideful place in the community. Please do not let a series of circumstances and setbacks define the legacy that was created over 22 years ago. Please reconsider keeping the school open.
Please, please keep our "BWC" open.
