We petition the Wake County School Board to reverse the proposed decision assigning Breckenridge Subdivision to middle-schoolers to West Cary Middle School versus Mills Park Middle School, which is materially closer to student homes, families, and extra-curricular activities, provides stability and reliability to for students already attending MPMS.

Our children have changed schools, tracks four times, and bus stops at the request of WCPSS. Being a parent of children who attend a Wake County School is exhausting. Please allow the children of Breckenridge to remain at MPMS, our closest middle school.
Please let us keep Mills Park Middle School as Breckenridge's traditional school year option. Our oldest son is starting 7th grade this year (2015) & we really would like our younger son to attend MPMS as well (without having to move). Our neighborhood continues to get booted out of the schools that we moved here for our kids' to attend. Our children need the stability and to be close to home. Thank you.
Please keep Mills Park as our base school

Please retain Mills Park Middle as the base school for Mccrimmon at the Park community. Our neighborhood has seen many school reassignment changes over the years, and as parents we want stability and consistency for our kids education.
West cary was the middle school before Mills park was made the middle school for Breckenridge when it opened. Parents and students of Breckenridge contributed greatly to the success of this school and continuing to do so. Not reasonable now to change back to west cary. Leave Breckenridge alone till you build a new middle school in Morrisville.
Having Mills Park as our middle school was a big contributing factor to why we purchased our home in Breckenridge. I grew up in the Wake County school system and am truly saddened of its current reputation of pushing kids from school to school every year. Please leave Breckenridge kids where they are!

Breckenridge is one of the older developments in Morrisville. And the proximity to Mills Park makes this assignment very logical. Please consider the fact that kids' participation in after school activities will also be impacted due to the longer commutes if this is changed. Thank you
