Please help us to save a piece of Public property (public access site) "Donated to the people of the State of Michigan"

I agree it should be kept as public property.

As a child growing up in Sebewaing, I do not want to see this land being developed or appropriated for any other intent than what the original owner had it planned for.

Acres away from the shoreline are useless for public hunting. Bay Shore is trying to trade crap, useless, farmland for pristine waterfront acreage. Using God as a front, this is nothing more than a land grab by a group of notoriously corrupt "Christians". Being able to use the land is not enough for them, they want to own it. This is blatant disrespect for the deceased. If the Whitlock's would have wanted Bay Shore to have it, they would have given it to them originally. Leave this land for the public good, not those who profit off God. Anyone should be able to access this land, not just those who have paid Bay Shore.

It is plain that the donor intended this plot for the purpose originally stated and that the meaning of this gift was and remains clear to anyone. It is a very personal choice for a specific purpose and that must be honored. Strange that organizations cloaked in names suggestive of good will choose to grab for what they should not take from others. Are there no moral boundaries remaining among us?

The deceased land owners wishes should be upheld. This land was donated to the community and it should stay that way.

Bay shore does not need this piece of land just because they have money dosnt men they can have everything

The land should be left for what it was intended for! Not for development!

Trading a waterfront public access property for one that does not provide public access is bad policy

Donated property should be left as it WAS to ba when it was donated. Not to be sold.

This property needs to be left alone so that everyone has access to it, including the camp. The public totally losses out if this deal goes through.

As a living relative of Stanley C Whitlock, I feel it would be disrespectful for this donated land to be acquired by Bay Shore Camp. This property was meant to be enjoyed by the public not cordoned off for the sole use of Bay Shore Camp. Please join me in supporting this cause.

To treat this gift from Mrs Whitlock as a mere property transaction would be a desecration of this most wonderful example of generosity. If this change of ownership is allowed to proceed, let it stand as a warning to anyone considering a gift to the public.

I believe this proposed transaction is wrong in that it appears to be motivated by commercial interest. The property was donated for public use, not as a bargaining chip in commercial land acquisition projects. Keep the spirit of the donation alive as it was intended.

I believe this land should be left as it was intended,,,Sebewaing has three nature trails that is already available for everyone to use that is within walking distance from Bay Shore Camp that their campers can go to...State land is harder to find here and it should be left alone.

Leave the land public for all to use. Not just the select few. The descendants of Mrs Whitlock do not want this land deal to go through. Leave well enough alone. I believe that public access already has a chain across the two track going back there. If it's public why is limited access.

This is an excellent section of property for everyone to enjoy and not only a few. After walking through the property today, it was enjoyable to see all the animal tracks. Everyone needs to have this available to view nature. Please keep this open to all and not a select few organizations.

I believe this property should be kept and used for what Mrs. Whitlock's intended use of it was donated for. It's a simple sign of respect!!! It wasn't meant to be sold to anyone for private ownership & use.
