Yes Of Course Ancient Greek should be maintained ! at the university of Cph. Had we lived by those old greec writers thinkers there would not have been any religious quarrels and fight among religious people : we would have been elevated from Fear of Terror etc etcand what do they at at the dept. where to be priests,vicars etc the bible was written in Greec anyway later translated into Greec. And Grec culture is the base of us all in Western societies good literature is based on Greec myths, good literature and visual art are founded on Greec art, and how about getting a basic cultural education isn t what universities ought to do ?Or do you want universities to be factories for specific science problems to be used outside the university as now used by firms all over? and how about a slow life ? anyway all of these points above underline the necessity of maintaining the old culture for younger generations to know their background.sincerely
