Surely there are enough wealthy Manx people who truly care deeply about this, and would gladly help towards the yearly costs.

since the childrens centre opened they have provided residential care for children and families who need the government should be ashamed of themselves

Typical Manx government doing everything wrong.It is time the Governor intervened because we do not have good governence and most ordinare members of Tynwald go along with this dictatorship because they get extra pay for being in govt departments.

Maybe the government should be supporting a local company and the affect it will have on the children in there care rather than looking at the figures

To whomever has made this decision please please rethink this choice, services like these cant be about the bottom line or making the books 'appear' to balance, these are childrens lives you are messing with, the warmth love and stability that they have come to know from the staff will be taken fromt hem in an instant and they will not be able to understand that this was done as some book balancing exercise and why should they ? For the sake of a few quid dont take the family that these children have away from them, think again and think with your hearts please

Disgraceful decision by treasury. This when they are telling us to buy local. then they offer contracts to an off island company who have an office based on the Isle of man. the money made by The childrens centre would stay on island helping the vunrable instead of NOW going off Island. Very short sighted.

The Children's Center is being run as a successful business keeping all their money and taxes on-island, unlike St Christophers. The appointment of the latter is a disgrace and doesn't make business sense to me.
