No ur right they won't be tossed out but they have 2 leave the house that they r in. Which I would like to point out st Christophers don't call there places homes they call them units. Children centre care homes the kids actually c them places as home. My son is only 1 of those children along with staff that got told that horrible news 2days b4 Christmas. My son is 15 and he has been in the same house for many years and he doesn't class the staff as staff me and my son class them as family. He is in his final year now of high school and he starts his mock exams wen he goes bak 2 school in January. I don't no how some people cant see the seriousness of this or how this is impacting on the children and staff

my guess is that they will not be 'tossed out' it will be a staged process as is in line with the rights of the child. The job losses are and always will be secondary to the issues of the children.

They do a fantastic job as a local hard working charity, staff are wonderful and caring. Part of the community. I have supported them with fund raising for many years

Cannot believe this is happening!!! I volunteered for the children's center a few years ago with the maintenance team, and I can safely say they were some of the best people I have ever worked with! It's unbelievable that from what I've heard that children are going to be leaving behind the people who have cared for them for years and forced out their care homes! Absolutely terrible!
