Do they not understand the importance of the stability that these vulnerable children need. It takes time to build up trust with both children and parents with the caring staff. WHY break that trust.
my sons have been helped so much by the staff at the childrens center. one son even has a worker who takes him out so he can learn how to tolerate being in public. without this help my son would face a life of being a shut in for the rest of his life
As a previous employer of the IOMCC care homes I am both saddened and angry by this news!! My heart goes out to all the children and staff who are loosing their homes and their jobs particularly at this time if year...
£2.4 million pounds is being 'lent' to uk service at our expense! As a Manx taxpayer I don't think this is acceptable especially at our children's expense. We can stop this! It's time our money stayed on Island, it's time our money was spent on our Island, it's time that we put our children first!
The Children's Centre does so much more for the Island as a whole than St Christopher's! All profit is injected back into the island supporting children and families who need it! Saddens me that the government have made this decision.
It's wrong cut your fat salaries to compensate instead of always the normal ppl loosing out
they shouldn't be doing this, it is wrong!

Absolutely disgraceful behaviour I really don't think that this has been thought through .the ones that will suffer the most are the ones that should suffer the least ! The staff are caring and do a fantastic job why was this decision made ? If it it a cost cutting exercise then look elsewhere please
