hi my name is jackie, i am a 23 year old mother of 4 wonderful children. in april 19, 2013 my children were removed with out a warrant. cps workers were called on me, and had been sent to my location for a investigation. i having nothing to hide, let them in to continue the investigation. at the moment of the removal, my family (husband and 3 kids at the time) were residing in a motel for a month or so until our apartment was ready to be moved in to. the workers had asked me for my kids names and birth days, i thinking they were going to check if my kids were taken care of right like doctors and stuff, not knowing that they were writing on a paper their names and birth days. one of the workers was telling my kids "hey do you guys like candy? do you guys want to go somewhere fun?" had persuade my kids to come long, well my 2 oldest kids at the time were 5 and 2 years old. as my youngest was 1 years old. as the worker is walking away with my 2 oldest kids, i was holding my youngest in my arms.(at the time of the removal we were getting ready to eat dinner.) they did not bother to ask me if my children were allergic to any food, if they have eaten dinner yet, or bathe, or had their teeth brushed or anything. now my opinion on this i believe is wrong. if they are child protective services, why did they not ask if my kids had any medication needed to be taken or if they have ate? the was no reason to be given besides "family was being evicted". which is incorrect information. our apartment was not going to be ready until the 1st of the following month and we were paid of for the month. my kids have been in the system for a year now. we had gotten our apartment the following month of removal, my husband was the only one working at he time. i was looking for work. i was not able to find work. i had a sudden bad pain on my ribs, and had scheduled with a doctor to see what the problem was. found out at my doctors visit i had gallstones and almost 4 months pregnant. my youngest son was born 3 weeks early from his due date, due to stress.at the hospital workers were trying to remove him since my husband, being the only one working at the time and i was not allowed to work due to high risk pregnancy we lost our apartment.we were able to have my youngest case closed. so we have the baby in our custody, but worker is trying to file for my termination of rights with my 3 kids in the system. i believe that if i am able to keep one child why not get my other 3 children back home to me and my husband. we were able to find a home once again. and now are being offered a gov. home (section 8). i have my 18 month hearing in october 2014. can i please have your help to get my kids home?
