I promise if the rule doesn't change no one is going to buy tickets, people are gonna plan a house party instead and everyone is just gonna go to a house party and drink and do drugs and things could possible end badly in that so why don't we change the rules back so we can have a safe night at PROM with the one we want to share our experience with.

Maybe those who have changed the rules should look @their own relationships & see age differences... How would they like it if someone said they couldn't bring their significant other because he/she was 5yrs older/younger...

I would've complained if this was the rule when I went to Kahuku. What a surprise, another new policy that I disagree with.

There wasn't ever a problem with the old prom rules, why make things difficult? Let the students share one of their last high school memories with whomever they choose.

Former student. My new school's prom is also coming up and I'm planning on taking a non student. I think it's totally wrong to not allow this.

We should just stick to the old rules with ages 16-20.. This junior and senior thing just brings no fun and joy. We all want the old rules back just to have fun.. BRING IT BACK

Yeah this rule is stupid. Many of my friends dated people who were older than them or went to other schools. It's not fair for those people who want to be spending the night of their lives with their high school sweethearts.

I agree it is unfair to the students. Not everyone date other their own age. Ask your self if you have a spouse what are the age difference. If their is a different how would you like someone tell you that you can attend cause of that. Its totally unfair.

We took whom ever we wanted to never even have to worry about the age. My cousin took my sister to her senior prom at castle and he was 7 years older then her. They being to controlling over our memories that we make it school. Leave the kids alone.
