Dear concerned persons,
Yesterday, we watched a match between Thailand and Japan in 2016 Volleyball Women’s World Olympic Qualification Tournament. Everyone in the world, not just my home country, cannot accept the judgment from the referee and the improper technology from the host country. It shows that Thailand has got unfair treatment from judging that we had a problem with an error from technology when we were in an important point and situation. No one investigated at once we have got an error and try to keep our right. On the other hand, the referee judged to adjust our score with unfair treatment, instead of finding the proper solution. It seems this unfair treatment has been set already before the match because Japan need to win for having a guarantee seat for RIO. We have doubt in many questions as below:
1. Why there is no one help Thailand team to investigate when we have a problem? Moreover, is this a proper action from the referee to punish us, adjust the score?
2. This is the most important world class event, is it fair and proved that FIVB and Japan is the professional enough to arrange this competition?
3. If we have a problem with technology and unfair treatment from host country and the committee, why you allow Japan to use it continually in the rest of the tournament?
In Thailand, no matter what we win or lose, we are proud to tell everyone in the world that we have the best women volleyball team ever!!!! Thank you very much for their spirit and strong contribution for Thailand. At the end of shameful match, we have got many strong support from all countries around the world, including Japanese people, that feel and realized that it’s was an unfair game. We are looking forward to see what action you will do for showing everyone in the world that you are transparent, responsible and professional to be the world class volleyball association.
