To whom it may concern

So i walk into court yesterday to something that totally floored me and my fiancé.

Mind you during the past 2 years that my daughter has been in foster care because her mother decide to get in trouble multiple times for drugs , dui , bad checks , and slew of other choices . Custody was never offered to me . In fact the the entire situation was hidden for approximately the first 6 months it was going on.

I have asked for custody at every opportunity in open court. Had a

psychological evaluation - deemed fit

Had my home inspected regularly - deemed fit

Took and completed 12 parenting courses

Followed every family service plan

Got ordered to pay $725 a month in child support

Contacted the agencies regularly for updates

So when I get to court yesterday the foster care family ( which is a maternal cousin and a Harrisburg city police officer ) filed a motion to classify my daughter as an orphan and strip me of my parental rights so they can adopt her. I am still sitting here more stunned that in 32 days i could loose my daughter for good .

Thank you
