We live lansfaire and are opposed to the rezoning of Moore Road

I oppose the rezoning from R-100 to R-60, Case #RZR2014-00010. When particular areas are being master planned, a lot of thought goes into, or at least should go into the process. The development that has occurred along Moore Road over the years is an excellent example of how to do things the right way versus hodge-podge/anything goes zoning. There is a reason for the high end homes, property value retention, great schools, public safety with low crime in our community versus what is seen in other areas of the county and state. Let's continue to lead the way by having our community be an area that all can be proud of and for the county to use as a model when master-planning future communities.

I think it is a bad idea to rezone, it will cause un needed traffic, additional pollution and it will lower the prices of our homes.

Moore road had been an upscale area for decades. Why would out elected reps chose to diminish the value of this road and its neighborhoods. It's senseless and ultimately bad for the county and tax revenue. If property value goes down because of less expensive neighborhoods like this one, lower comps would mean lower property taxes paid by existing residents. NOT SMART PEOPLE!!!
