I AM READING THROUGH EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOUR COMMENTS AND THE CONCERN FOR OUR NEIGHBORHOOD IS ABSOLUTELY POWERFUL!! I AM CURRENTLY DRAFTING URGENT EMAILS TO THE SCHOOL BOARD TO ENSURE THEY CANNOT IGNORE THIS GROWING PRESSURE TO PRIORITIZE SAFETY OVER EVERYTHING ELSE!!

Mother of 3rd grader at Columbus; have multiple medical issues that put me at higher risk if he brings it home from school. Waiting for a presumptive positive case before closing schools is bolting the barn door after the horse has escaped and run halfway to the next county. The best way to mitigate community spread is to close schools BEFORE the virus has obviously shown up in them.
Medford High School. Would like to add that my college has already closed AND my brother was born with a compromised immune system

My son is in pre-k at McGlynn Elementary. He has some medical issues was just diagnosed with asthma. I understand that most children are only carriers but I have multiple medical issues that make me very susceptible and very low immunity I don't want anyone I know getting sick teachers children my own family please free proactive and closed the schools for a deep cleaning!
