We do not like the new scent of Dreft Laundry Detergent for Babies. This new scent has a sickening, overpowering, cheap-perfume-smell which smells nothing like babies. Babies are new and clean and this scent is just awful
Proctor and Gamble you did this same exact thing with the original scent of Febreze, it was so light, clean and unique smelling then you changed it into a disgusting cheap perfume scent, people would walk into my house and rave about how clean and fresh it smelled but then Febreze turned into that cheap perfume scent; I never bought it again and was so sad because I loved that scent.
Now you are doing the same exact thing with Dreft. The original Dreft scent is synonymous with babies in every way; why would you do this? No one wants to hold their baby and smell cheap perfume.
Please dump this new awful scent and bring back the original scent or you will lose many customers.
By the way my baby is all grown up and 24 years old and I have continued using dreft to this day. But I'm returning this horrible-discovery-and-shock-of-a-laundry-detergent and will not be buying it until the scent is brought back.

I have spent hours reading through your messages about how this new smell lingers on everything your children wear. The silence from the company is frustrating but it only proves they are ignoring customers who have been loyal for decades. I am tired of the runaround but I am not going to stop pushing for the original formula to return.

The new smell had me CRYING!!!! WHY WOULD YOU CHANGE SUCH AN ICONIC SMELL?!?!? I used this detergent with my oldest 11 years ago, and with my twins 9 years ago. I just had a baby girl and I am FURIOUS that I can’t experience this smell when breastfeeding. It helped relax me AND baby. Please please please CHANGE IT BACK!!!
I want the old scent back. Will not buy or use new scented detergent
The new scent is heavily perfume and NOT hypoallergenic.
Please change Dreft detergent back to the original baby scent. The new formula is terrible & I will not be buying any more dreft because of this change.
Please bring back the old scent. The new one smells like cheap perfume and after 12 years I no longer use your product.
The new sent is absolutely awful !! It’s so strong and give a terrible chemical smell
We need safe scents for our babies. Be a company of integrity.

The new scent of dreft smells like dirt and mildew when it comes out of the dryer! The clothes are actually not soft anymore either. I will sadly be switching brands! Also stop pushing your scent boosters on people as if your detergent isn’t expensive enough!
