We, as huge fans of Escape To The Chateau DIY are stupified that the fabulous Chateau de la Basmaignee will no longer be a feature of this programme.
We have eagerly been following the progress of this outstanding Chateau and the fabulous work, skills and personalities of Billy, Gwendolyn and Michael over the series and want to continue to see the progress done by these three, inspirational young people.
We respectfully and passionately ask that Channel Four and Kindling Media listen to their viewers and reverse this ludicrous decision to cease showing us more in the life of the much loved Chateau de la Basmaignee.
Seeing this level of support for Gwendolyn, Billy, and Michael proves just how much their hard work resonated with all of us. I truly hope the producers are paying attention to how many people miss their presence on our screens.

Seeing the count hit one hundred people proves I am not the only one grieving the loss of Billy and Gwendolyn from my screen. Watching their journey has been a highlight of my week and I am truly touched that so many others feel the same.

As a viewer it is important to maintain a journey from beginning to end with progress of Chateau owners. By not using familiarity in the programme viewers will be hugely disappointed without knowing the visual changes with Chateau owners that we’ve come to enjoy.

These young people should be kept in the show as a reminder to other youngsters that so much can be achieved with determination and self belief. They have a great ‘can do’ attitude. Shame on

I can not understand why you would take off this chateau and its 3 owners, they are ingenious
And hard working. The stainglass window was amazing. They are restoring the chateau, I for one would like to see the results and progress.
Thank you.

Seven months of unpaid work to be told they're not included because they're not "interesting enough"! Badly done. And not true. Please think again and include Chateau de la Basmaignée in the upcoming series of ETTCDIY. We miss them

Having met this hardworking and lovely family and having seen parts of the Chateau that others might not be privileged to see I would like to know if Billy re-instated the dumbwaiter and what he did with the Victorian showers.

Stephanie Jarvis and Michael, Billy and Gwendoline and families are the only reason I watch ‘Escape to the Chateau diy’ and I cannot believe that you will not be showing this fabulous family and their pack of gorgeous dogs and their baby Ernest - madness ..!!!

Please reinstate the Pethericks Chateau as I love to see their journey as well as others in this series. After all it was Michael Pethericks doing it ourselves that got me interested in watching diy on these beautiful Chateaus
