We at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Russellville , are petitioning to the Bishop and diocese of Birmingham to keep Fr. Jim Hedderman at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Russellville and to allow him to continue his wonderful work here for as long as possible at our parish. Before his arrival here our Parrish was broken up into two followings. His presence here has been instrumental in reuniting our parish. Attendance at Mass is at an all time high and expansion projects are in their early planning stages. In addition to reuniting our church he has also made much needed progress in relations with other local churches and within the community. We are afraid that our Parrish and Mass attendance and the future of any expansions to our Parrish may suffer in his absence.
