I am requesting Kentucky law makers to pass laws to protect animals from abuse. I was shocked and saddened recently to discover my beautiful home state placed last for our nation when it comes to protecting animals. Please make the ethical and moral decision to pass laws to protect animals from abuse. Thank you in advance for your consideration on this matter.

Animals have more soul than most humans. The deserve so much more and should be protected to the best way possible. They absolutely should no longer be considered "property"!! They are not an object but a living being with so much soul!! PLEASE give these animals the rights they deserve!! It is 2019 not 1919!! Time to update the laws and make them much more strict!! It is our job to protect the innocent and voiceless!!

Seriously who buys their pets. (not a fee from a rescue shelter) Ask yourself have you ever supported a breeder. Not me! Proud of it.
