It's art, it's meaningful, it's attractive, it's private property. What law is being broken?
I agree with Ms. de Rooij's statement, "You can't expect Fremantle to be a hub of the arts if you don't let the artists create art that's a bit meaningful, that might attract a bit of criticism, otherwise it's meaningless art."
Let the mural remain! It's art, and it's relevant to the era in which we live.

Can we please acknowledge the irony that the 'Time for Change' mural is immediately being called to change. It'll likely fade to a more comfortable pink by the end of Summer. Change is inevitable and strange. East Fremantle council don't want to lose control. Maybe just send them an apology for not including them in the process. Send them some flowers. Some pink flowers haha. How long is this comment box? It is allowing me to really chat about this. I appreciate that. So if anyone wants to paint another one just ring me 0424 036 253. Of course this time we will do a more mute peach for the background, something more relaxing on the eyes. And a clear lacquer over the top to stop any buffing or dogging. Anyways I better go blow my nose. Peace y'all and just remember, be friendly and exercise.

This wall is SO Freo! A very sad state indeed when we are being told how to/how not to decorate our property. It is in no way offensive, and its pretty.
If main roads are worried about advertising hazards they should look at the fwy/hwy going south and think about the electronic signs and giant billboards they want motorists to read!

Focus your energy on the destructive behaviour pf those in east freo! Get onboard and help those who are trying to bring constructive change through art and creativity make a diffetence! Get the youth involved in creating programs to do more of this type of work a d put freo on the map for its urban artwork scene like in melbourne!
