Just cause one teacher miss a day of school to help family shouldn’t be a reason to fire him ...I swear schools boards backwards how would y’all feel in that position ? He actually care about these kids and helping them learn something y’all gone take that away ?

Igoe is the only chem teacher that is able to be patient and kind. He always starts off the day with some therapy and even though I’m not a therapeutic type person Mr. Igoe makes it’s peaceful and enjoyable. A lot has happened for my specifically since the start of the pandemic but Mr.Igoe has been one of the only few teachers to be understanding and caring. It is not right for the class of 2022 and 2023 to switch over to another teacher who we are unfamiliar with and who is unfamiliar with our learning style.

In all honesty Igoe was one of the many teaches that made school fun. He supported every single last one of his students dreams from rapping, singing, youtube to dancing and ect! He never let us give up on anything we actually wanted to do and it’s unfair to take that away from us !

Mr. Igoe is a great teacher and has been dealing with a lot throughout this pandemic . Him being terminated is outrageous considering the fact that he generally loves his students and care not only for their grades but for their well being . Throughout my all school years i’ve never really understood and liked science until Mr. Igoe became our teacher and that wasn’t until my sophomore year . Mr. Igoe deserves to stay teaching at 21st and the class of 2022 will back up this statement and petition.
