If you, like many people, bought an iMacPro and expected to speed up your 4k video workflow, but realized that your iMacPro is slower than your 3 year old iMac?
Adobe has optimized the performance of Premiere Pro for faster processors rather than multiple cores.
What do we want? Multiple cores are the future, and they are here for quite some time now. We want Adobe to release an update that works on professional mac machines better than on old models.

Please fix this Adobe! I need faster throughput, or I'll need to switch to Apple's Final Cut Pro.

iMac Pro, 18 Core, 256GB ram, Radeon Pro Vega 64X 16 GB. Basically around £12k machine and runs really slowly using Adobe AE :/ I used to think your software was always at the cutting edge, these days you just don't seem interested. SORT IT OUT PLEASE
Please look at this. I'm an AE user on a iMac Pro and could believe that there was this issue.
I would love to see some improvements.

Imac 2017 - 2018 5K loaded with 3Ghx Intel, 64GB DDR4, Radeon Pro Vega 64 16368 MB - Slow with any current adobe or even cinema4d. What is going on here? I spent a whopping 8k and in some instances my older iMac 2013 runs faster. Get your act together and work with Apple community!
