Charging an innocent man while the criminal is still out there is disrespect to the victims. As an Eritrean who experienced all kinds of mistreatment under a tyrant government I have thirsty for rule of law and fair justice. I have faith in the European legal systems. However, the case of Medhanie Tesfamariam Berhe, an innocent immigrant who has been through all kinds of harassment as every Eritrean is experiencing in Eritrea and it's neighbouring countries, made me question my truss in the Italian legal system.
The real criminal is Medhanie Yedhego Mered who is still out there. Therefore, I urgently request the Italian authorities to release Medhanie Tesfamariam Berhe. Otherwise, the Italian government is doing what the Eritrean government is doing, victimizing the unrelated innocents on behalf of notorious criminals!
