Playground Repairs, Franciscan Village, Franciscan Court, Carpinteria, CA 93013
NOTICE OF FRANCISCAN VILLAGE PETITION
TO RE-SURFACE THE PLAYGROUND WITH POURED RUBBER FLOORING
The poor condition of the Franciscan Village playground must be addressed.
There are many hazards that effect the health and safety of our children.
Recently, there were several repairs that were approved with the exception
of the surface, i.e. the sand. It is the biggest problem and is extremely unhealthy!
The local cats/animals use it as a litter box, cigarette butts and garbage are found
daily. The surface is made up of poor quality sand, dirt and gravel mixed.
We are requesting that the surface be replaced with soft poured rubber flooring.
