I am signing the following petition for the purpose of providing additional incentives to the National Football League players and owners to reach an agreement in the very near future which will allow a full 16-game regular season to begin as scheduled on Thursday, September 8, followed by the normal slate of playoffs and Super Bowl. If no such regular-season commences on Thursday, September 8, my signature represents my pledge that for the following calendar year: 1. I will not attend any NFL football game; and 2. I will not purchase any merchandise or service advertised during any NFL football game; and 3. I will not purchase any item from the NFL or any NFL team.
