We live in a neighborhood with kids of all ages,who have no where to play but in the area where everyone in the neighborhood is driving to and from home.This results in a child for example running in front of your car,to purposely get hit,because he thinks it is funny and he doesn't have anything better to occupy his time with. You have little children vandalizing the neighborhood or neighbors property because they have nothing better to do. They would be able to play like a child their age should,if they had a place to do so. Taking away every inch of free space in the neighborhood and telling them they are not allowed to play here or there,not allowed to use chalk on the sidewalk,play in the grass,play ball in the road is leaving them with nothing to do.Being a mother of two and seeing that there is a good space for a playground area,I believe we should do exactly that.Let's show our children that we care about them and want them to be happy.Let's give them something to do besides get in trouble and try to jump in front of cars,telling them they can not play like a child should have the right to. By signing this petition you agree with me,that it's time to build a playground in our neighborhood and give our children a place to be a child.With safety and not having to worry about them being in the road.Let's agree to put a smile on the faces of our neighborhood children.
