THANK YOU EVERYONE!! Your voice has been heard! The piano is staying in the lobby! We will put it on a brace to protect the legs and we will lock it on nights and weekends. It's been a complete joy listening to people, mostly students, play it every day! Enjoy!!

I think it really brings the room together, plus it is good to have in the room for students and faculty to be able to play. Why lock away a beautiful piano?

Personally I think the piano looks nice sitting out in the lobby, the Theatre Department should NOT be complaining! The fact that the Theatre Department is complaining about a piano being in the lobby makes the Theatre Department really REALLY IMMATURE!! Tower Fine Arts isn't just about the Theatre, is involves MUSIC AND ART!! I agree with this petition 100%

I think the piano adds to the nuance of the room. It is also cool for students who are not in the major who enjoy playing piano to have a place to play at their leisure

Non-music students don't usually have access or priority to practice rooms. This piano can easily serve as a piece of home for anyone who plays piano (or wants to learn)
