The Community House has a new project! We want to deliver kids workshops during school term breaks in 2018/19. Our aim is to help you find activities that are educational and enhances your child / children learning outcomes while they have fun!
We are currently applying for funding opportunities to assist us with project costs, and in return to make it more accessible to all members of our community.

The momentum behind these workshops proves that our community is hungry for better options during the term breaks. The road ahead for funding remains long and exhausting but seeing this level of interest keeps me focused on the target.

Good stuff. Kids need more to do in town besides sitting on tablets all day.
Be great idea if there was a program that you can have your children there while you work too. Very hard for working parents over school holidays.
A wonderful plan to engage kids and provide a holistic approach to positive learning.
LOVE this idea! Hope it gets the funding it needs.
Anything to help children be creative, explore and be social is a fantastic idea !

Finding stuff for the kids to do in the school holidays is a nightmare. This would be a lifesaver for us working mums.
