A good start to resolving some of the damage plastic is doing to our planet. If Coke or Pepsi decided to start making "Lego bottles" based on the current use of the cylindrical bottles I believe it would be a brilliant idea for them from a good will perspective. Let's face it we can reduce the use of bottled water but it will not ever likely be eliminated.
Please write a law that will compel bottlers to print images of the destruction of plastics to our oceans. Thanks!
Plastics are harmful for the oceans and living creatures. Please consider using materials that biodegrade rather than #1, which lasts 800 years or more.
As a teacher, I think it's vital that we begin in this manner, while teaching the children of today, so that this ceases to continue in the futre. Plastic waste is high on our minds in schools and at ours we have already introduced a bottle scheme where each child is equipped with a Bobble Bottle that they use throughout the whiole day instead of, what was being done in the past, using plastic bottle of bought water from supermarkets etc.
It is a necessity to act in the face of plastic bottles' pollution of our oceans! I am proud to sign this petition.

Governments MUST insist that all bottlers have a label, a sticker, on their bottles to warn consumers about the absolute disaster that plastics have in our oceans and water ways! Please DO omething about this NOW! It is critical! Education is key!
