We have been refused planning permission from North Yorkshire Council for our Sheep Housing Building / Food & Hay Store. This is a new modern shed that will be build cladded to fit into the surrounding picturesque landscape of Eskdaleside. It will replace current old and dilapidated sheds - which are an eyesore to passers by and neighbours.

We breed prize-winning Pedigree Suffolk & Texel sheep and have a small flock of 25. They are well cared for to an outstanding standard and the shed will be used to Lamb them in and provide shelter for them in winter and store hay and straw in. There has been sheep and livestock on this land for over 50 years.

All our 7 neighbours have wrote letters in favour of our planning, we also have the favour of the local Parish Council and the National Parks, yet despite ALL of this, North Yorkshire Council have still refused. We now will take it to Appeal.
