Recently, as in this month, I have noticed a form of cyberbullying and moderation abuse on a game called Minecraft. On the multiplayer section, there is a list of servers, or worlds that you can go onto. This particular server has been a bad place to go to. The following things I am about to state about this server shows why your day can be awful playing on this server, and why the staff there needs a serious recall.

The server I am targeting primarily is a newly founded server called "BatCraft" (192.99.21.71:26408). Mainly a week old, the mission of this server is "to provide users with a fun, friendly environment while listening to peoples needs and address them as a small server." The main focus is a factions server. This is a political like situation where users are forced to survive on a shared world and create or join groups and raid each other for fun. Everything stated above is pretty much my cup of tea, but the thing I will elaborate on is the slang term "griefing".

Griefing is the act of purposely destroying physical or emotional properties to intentionally make the victim feel bad. This is a simple way of bullying, and it should not be allowed on servers first of all, unless the server states that they want to be a hardcore factions server or provide that service. Honestly, with me getting griefed a lot, I understand the pain and withdrawal we have to go through. We as players spent a lot of time on our buildings and to see that get destroyed by selfishness really gets to me. Some players shrug it off and rebuild, only to get bombarded with TNT and swords again. The repeated clashing is what gets people OFF servers, no matter how much positive advertising you do. Major raiding factions/groups tend to have lowered reputations and treated as "gangs", and even then people in that faction tend to be treated bad. Griefing is a practice that should be stopped if the majority of players want to continue playing on your server.

Now, back to BatCraft. The horrible griefing is practiced by the STAFF, using the hard-earned "Creative Mode" to constantly bash on the members, who so kindly dedicated their time to play on such a server. Those who get ignored are extremely lucky, but should still take caution, even on a little server like BatCraft. The fact that the staff practice this harmful behavior is the reason why people, including me, have quit this server.

Another reason BatCraft needs a serious recall is the fact that the staff doesn't give you much freedom, if earned. Chat is run with a tight fist, similar to that like Club Penguin. This is understandable, but kicking people randomly and crashing their games? Not my cup of tea. Note that most of the abusive staff goes to the Co-Owner, Owner, and Developer ranks. Anything below that has gotton demoted more than once, the reason is? None at all! Ranks are completely determined by the upper staff, the notoriously powerful upper-staff. The selfishness of their hands and keyboards has proven that even the head-admin gets to be a member and then banned some (That happens to be me for your information). What did I do? I haven't seen any staff abuse lately from Admin and below, and there shouldn't be any of this nonsensical bull!

In conclusion, the government of BatCraft is futile and needsan immediate recall for the staff abuse, griefing, and the intentional demotion of our beloved, innocent players. Please, keep our community strong and petition for the better!
