Placement of Crossing Guard at New Jersey Ave and Foxworthy Ave Intersection (San Jose)

We absolutely need a crossing guard at this intersection!

With so much morning traffic on Camden, Foxworthy has become an alternate route. As such, Foxworthy has become very congested and dangerous in the mornings. I occasionally take this route to get to Campbell. I totally agree that at least one if not more crossing guards are necessary. Is this something that parents could volunteer to help with?

I've seen many examples of poor driving choices at that intersection: there are quite a number of "glamour stops", instead of full stops, whether turning or driving forward.

Please do everything you can to make sure this never happens again..

I think police officers need to patrol the school area especially in the morning. We walk to school and cross on Leigh and cars are constantly flying by. Very dangerous for everyone.

I saw that poor girl on the corner the morning of the accident! Absolutely we need cross guards at that site!!!!

One hurt kid is too many. I believe a crossing guard is really needed at this busy corner.

I see people running the 4 way stop all the time. I think his is extremely important to try to keep the kids safe.

I feel for Kids safety a crossing guard be placed at Foxworhy and New Jersey.

I live at this intersection and see cars nearly hit pedestrians (as well as other cars) on a daily basis. A crossing guard would greatly increase safety for students and their families while going to school in the mornings when traffic is heaviest.

Also need one at Foxworthy and Leigh

it should have crossing Guard or a 4 way stop sign.
