We, the undersigned Port Jefferson Village residents, request that Mayor Garant and the Village Trustees officially designate the 6 acre open space land parcel (Sec. 21, Block 6, Lot 13.4) on Hightlands Blvd., adjacent to the Highland Condominiums, as "Parkland", and not to proceed with a land swap, selling of the property, or any other consideration that is not deemed "Parkland". We respectfully request that the 6 acre parcel, once authorized as designated "Parkland", be conserved as one of the last large parces of open green spaces available to the citizens of Port Jefferson Village now and in the future.
