After a 15-year absence, Pius X in Downey, CA is coming back! Next year our beloved Alma Mater will be rechristened "St. Pius X—St. Matthias Academy". The administration has not decided on a name for the mascot, but we Pius X alumni know of the BEST and ONLY mascot for this school: THE WARRIORS! We ask that the administration bring back THE WARRIORS to the campus of Pius X, thus allowing the future student-athletes to continue to build on the legacy of THE WARRIOR.
