I am appalled at councils plan to rezone areas of Pittwater and support the petition to protect Pittwater.

I support the proposal as put by previous councillor Sue Young to change the environmental criteria for C4 zoning from 0.05 to 1.0 for proposed The Northern Beaches LEP in the following categories :- 1)Biodiversity corridors and Urban Tree corridors from medium to High 2)Ridge Line and/or Escarpment from Medium to High 3)Geotechnical classification from medium hazzard to Critical hazzard 2)

I would like to see the present Northern Beaches council de-amalgamated with Pittwater council reinstated!

This is not just critical for us in Pittwater but for the whole world our future.

There is no advantage to development in this part of Palm Beach. The roads are too narrow, the access via Bynya Road is restricted and already crowded with development and cars. The top of the ridge is all slippage area and should not be subject to any form of commercial or major development. Keep this area residential set in bushland. I support all four proposals.

I can see no positive outcome to this diabolicle rezoning.

This proposal conserves nothing, it just tells developers what they can build. It is a Developers Plan. A prime example of this Council's priorities.

The very unique environment of Pittwater must be preserved for the present and future generations

Please protect the natural beauty of the northern beaches. Once destroyed it's ruined forever! It's the last beautiful area of Sydney. We should be proud and protective of its beauty not eager to destroy it.

Please don't over develop this beautiful area. This place is so special . It would be environmental vandalism to change the safe guards for this area.

This is a despicable attempt to over-populate and over-develop the Northern Beaches and destroy what current residents value most.

The tree cover of the ridges is more patchy than it was when we first came here 35 years ago, but it is still a key feature of former Pittwater and needs to be valued and kept for the future.

We need to conserve our environment for our beautiful wildlife and our own well being. We are here as custodians of the land. Not here to destroy it.

C4 land must not be rezoned to residential. Conservation zonings must be applied to areas of significant environmental value. The shoreline must be protected. All Heritage Conservation areas implemented and those proposed by our sorely missed Pittwater Council must be protected

It is important to retain the natural environmental resources we currently have in Pittwater and minimise residential development on land currently zoned C
