The feedback regarding the revitalization of the bathing pool has been encouraging and highlights the deep community desire for this restoration. I have been drafting proposals for local council members to initiate a formal conversation about the site. Your continued interest reinforces the necessity of maintaining this space for future recreation.

Get the pool restored to how it was in the 60's. Young people need to spend more time outdoors and this would be the ideal place for them.
I remember spending all the summer holidays at the pool in the 1960.s,The raft. Races on the Galla days,,,Foundry boys Such fantastic memories,Would be lovely to think the next generation could have the same fun,
This is a much needed resource in a rural area with no local swimming pool. Restoring the pool with bring so many benefits to the area, from access to the facility for locals (improved health) to bringing in tourism and helping local businesses.
The Bathing Pool was probably THE hub of the community, throughout the Summer, when I was growing up in Pittenweem. The loss of this facility, due to neglect, has robbed generations of young people of the chance to learn to be safe in the water. Let's have it back, please.
This is a wonderful asset to the Burgh of Pittenweem and has been used well over decades. Salt, fresh, clean water. It only went into disrepair when the Burghs in Fife lost their control to the County.

Would love this to be open again . I'm happy to hold outdoor swimming lessons too in the warmer months
