Pit bulls are misunderstood animals. They are NOT mean and aggressive UNLESS they are trained that way. As a pit bull owner I find it appalling that they are trying to be banned out of fear, ignorance and political pressure. It is said "Hate the DEED, not the breed" and that is so true. They are not the monsters they are made out to be. Stoney, my 5 month old pit is the biggest baby. He love's everybody and wants everyone to pet him. My 3 year old step son plays with him too. Let's stand together to stop the ban on pit bull ownership so we can educate the public about the true nature of the pit bull. Any breed can and does bite so why are pit's being singled out? Dog fighting rings. The Government should be more concerned about this aspect than condemning a family's fur child to death on the basis of it breed.
