There are no bad dogs, only bad owners. Just because an animal had been bred to be defensive/aggressive does not mean they will be. Proper training and socialization are all that are required to keep these dogs on the right path, and it's the same for any breed. I'm far more likely to have a Poodle get aggressive with me for no reason than a Pit Bull.
If these dogs keep being discriminated against then there is no chance for them to be socialized properly. If a dog is told it is bad from birth then it will do what it is told and be bad. It's not hard to socialize an animal properly, but it requires trust from other dog owners and that won't happen if everyone thinks their dog is going to be attacked because the breed is "dangerous".
End the stigma!

My son's Pitt bull is the sweetest dog we have ever had and is being pushed for being a living dog just because of her breed
