Pinged Road is dangerous to all users, but especially those who use it for leisure activities like walking, cycling, horse riding and carriage driving. The speed limit on the road is currently the national speed limit, but it is a very twisty 2 way road, with 3 sections which are about a lorry width wide. Our aim is to reduce the speed limit or having traffic calming.

I have finalized the formal letter requesting a traffic safety audit for Pinged Road. This document is now ready to be submitted to the local highways department for their immediate review.

Very dangerous road. I will never ride my horse on this road again ! It's far too dangerous as the lorries come speeding around the corners and take up the road ! I won't even walk to the church anymore !
Seen many accidents on this road. Cars just speed pass horses.
I work with the disabled and therefore often can be seen pushing a wheelchair,but I don't think I will be able to here.
Very dangerous road. Don't even like driving it. And would never ride on it as seen to many near misses with cars.
Something needs to be done before someone's killed.
Traffic speeds on this road - lorries particularly.
Something needs to be done as I have a yard and boy racers use the straight outside mine to race up and down and it's bloody redicilous

Unfortunately I live on this road right by a nasty bend so unless we use the trailer from my yard we have no option but to ride it. The girls from my yard always wear hi viz but sadly even with that i often hear the screech of brakes not long after they have left for a hack. I tell the girls to say thank you to the traffic unless they have been particularly awful as manners are incredibly important ... lots of bicycles also race on this road never having manners or respect for cars or riders and also the Police use it as a test road for chases. The road needs to be monitored as unless people in charge of these things want a death on their hands with the fact that the boy racers and lorry drivers use it as a rat run it is sadly inevitable.
