Please make Pine Hollow Middle the base school for the Chestnut Oaks community.

Absurd not to have Chestnut Oaks children going to Pine Hollow Middle School...makes absolutely no sense at all. You get the vote/taxes/money and change your mind..explain that please.

Please make Pine Hollow the base school for the Chestnut Oaks subdivision. I currently have a student at Durant that has over a 2 hour commute each day, can't participate in afterschool or extracurricular activities becasue of the undue hardship of commuting to and from school, and has no classmates in our general living area.

Chestnut Oaks Subsivision children should be assigned to Pine Hollow MS.

Please make Pine Hollow our base school. It is by far the closest option and will make the transition to high school much smoother for our children.

I am a resident of Sussex Acres (intersection of Glenfiddich Way and Victory Church) and respectfully ask that Pine Hollow Middle School be our base school. My child currently attends SCES and I would like him to continue to Pine Hollow in 6th grade. Pine Hollow is much closer to our home than Durant or West Millbrook. My younger son will be at SCES while my older son is in middle school. Having my children at schools close to each other is very important for transportation, involvement in the school and in the event of emergencies or early school closure. Please let all students attending SCES attend Pine Hollow Middle as their base school.

Hi, My daughter attends Pleasant Union Elementary. Our base middle school is W Millbrook. That's way to far from our home on Pleasant Union Church Road. Please continue with the plans to add in a new Middle School to serve this part of the county.

We are in Boulder Creek and have two students in Sycamore Creek. As working parents, we manage to stay active in the Sycamore community (volunteering, etc.) in large part because we can quickly stop in during the day due to the close proximity to our home. Feeding into Durant Middle would essentially eliminate our ability to stay involved. In addition, it would add a time-consuming AM and PM commute for us and the kids. Neither of these are good for our children, at a time when parental/family involvement is even more critical. Please consider the neighborhoods off Victory Church into the base or calendar options for Pine Hollow.

I am in Boulder Creek. Proximity schools is what everyone is asking for. My kids are at Sycamore as our option school thinking we would be assigned to Pine Hollow at least as our YR option. My kids would have to endure a 1+ hr bus ride each way to get to a school 14 miles away with Pine Hollow 3 miles. Natural feeder for Sycamore and PUE is pine hollow onto Leesville HS.

I'm signing this petition to have the lines redrawn to include students West of PUE to have Pine Hollow their base YR option and NOT DURANT! It's a major disruption for families for reasons stated in the body of the petition.

There are a number of hardships that my son and I endure to attend year round calendar option of Durant Road Middle School, many of which have a direct reflection on his school performance. Those can be eliminated by following through on the commitment to feed ALL of Sycamore Creek children to Pine Hollow.

In Black Horse Run our base school is BAILEYWICK but our kids attend SYCAMORE CREEK as the "Calendar Option". Base Middle is W MILLBROOK and calendar option is DURANT RD. Apparently under the current plan, we can't even APPLY to attend Pine Hollow. That does not seem right. It seems that a simple formula of "Attended Sycamore Creek or Pleasant Union, assigned to Pine Hollow" should be sufficient.

Please reconsider having students currently at sycamore creek as their calendar option feed into pine hollow middle as a calendar option. NOT DURANT!

Please follow through on your commitment to keep our community together. Please remember that our children will be on the bus 2 hours plus every single day without this change? Is it safe or smart to have over 2 hours wasted on a bus every day? Is that in the best interest of their education? How much is wasted on gas for those long routes? Please keep in mind the natural feeder pattern from Sycamore Creek/Pleasant Union all the way to Leesville High School.
