Petition regarding Pinaroo Leisure Park, Muswellbrook, NSW Hunter Valley, located at 8569 New England Highway, Muswellbrook 2333. All you need to do is "Google" them.

WARNING FOR: Inability to obtain refunds, even after being asked to leave, when there is underservicing of rooms. Rude and unhelpful customer service. Underserviced rooms, including no water for showers, toilets. Kicking out people at 4am in the morning on Easter. Loud abuse and threats. Commonly threatens eviction of tenants. DRIVE THESE GUYS OUT OF BUSINESS!!

Clearly, "Glenn & Suzanne" have NOT changed the place.

"We booked a 2 night stay... The electric room key wouldn't work so we rang the Owner who's husband came out and reprogrammed it. He seemed nice enough and saw we had a small Spoodle dog through the car window, but walked away without saying anything. At 4am Easter Friday whilst we were sleeping, the Owner's husband woke us up at 4am and told us to leave within 15 minutes, or they would call the Police. Our dog is quiet and housetrained and did not even bark once and it did not say Pets Not Allowed anywhere in the ad. We paid for two nights via Quickbeds and they refused to give us a refund even for the 2nd night. The Owner conversed with me by phone, and did not even have the guts to face me in person." "I have never met anyone more rude and unhelpful than this place. Some places actually go out of your way to make your stay unpleasant and this was one of them. They were just not interested in our booking or having us stay for 4 weeks... No over the phone booking for ensuite site, you just have to turn up and try your luck. Won't stay here again. We decided to move else where and give our money to someone else." Gentleman was travelling on business

"We stayed one night here, many caravans where workmen overnight. We were the only 'real' campers. We got a place at a camp kitchen. All right. Unfortunately the owner after half an hour was reported that the water had jumped, no water, shower and toilet so. Also no compensation"

"Absolutely disgusting treatment! Visitors are treated like second rate citizens! My two little boys & myself visited after 2 hrs of driving and it was 40 degree heat so we went to their pool only to be asked to get out of the pool. We weren't loud the kids were well behaved we only had just walked into the pool area and the Owner comes in and informs us that guests may not use the pool and that myself and my 2 year old and 7 year old had to leave. I actually thought he was making a joke as it was so hot and his request was so bizarre, but he was serious and then started loudly abusing my sister and threatening her and her family of eviction - I was in shock and this man just ranted and raved on and on! I have travelled all over Australia and to other parts of the world and have NEVER been treated like this EVER! Absolutely Appauling!"

"According to the park manager (who treated us like an inconvenience): it's not really a holiday park anymore . The tenants are mostly mine workers. If the rudeness of the park manager is anything to go by, Muswellbrook may not be interested in the tourist dollar anymore. Maybe it's the miners dollar now."
