To MCD and affiliated organisers of the Oxygen 2007 festival: NOTING that Pilotlight (formerly known as Polar) have been working hard for 5 years to establish themselves both on the Irish and UK music scenes; CONSIDERING that their popularity is such that they have sold out Whelan's, been featured on radio stations, websites newspapers and other media in both Ireland and the UK; BELIEVING, as fans, that Pilotlight are among the best in upcoming, contemporary rock music in Western Europe; We, the undersigned, implore the organisers of the 2007 Oxygen festival to include Pilotlight as a featured band over the weekend on the New Acts stage. We are aware that this stage is fully booked, yet we hope that an exception can be made. To further this claim, each of the undersigned pledges to buy a ticket for Oxygen and see Pilotlight perform if they are booked. Thank you.
