I think this is just another stunt their pulling behind our back. How much are they going to get away with before we as towns people say thats enough !!

Please stay in the space that is already owned. If renos are needed there that is one thing but why get into a lease?

Should never have even been considered as an option. What is wrong with the current placement of the town office?

Why would there not been offices incorporated in the new Water Treatment Plant. Renting is a loose, loose, proposition. Boy and it being kept a secret, any money flowing here?

We are totally opposed to the move. What a waste of money! Why weren't we, as taxpayers, consulted?

What is wrong with the current location? It's been working for a long time. Town counsel needs to stop thinking about "their town dream" and start thinking about the residents that live here.

Was not aware they were moving. We're we informed of this?

Complete waste of tax dollars and very underhanded way of avoiding community involvement and feedback.

$0 VS $48,000 per year, that's a no-brainer!

I agree with all the previous comments. Let businesses that will enhance the community move into the strip mall. This town has the potential to grow into a community where people will want to live and are proud to call home. Presently there seems to be no direction, no plan. Houses, condos etc seem to be put up anywhere. Our taxes should be spent on helping this town, for example hire a town planner. Our taxes are high enough and definately shouldn't go towards a fancy town office.

Why move to a place that costs to rent when the space you occupy is free? If renovations to existing place are required, surely it would be cheaper to fix the current place up than to occupy a bare space. The subdivision of Pilot Butte that I live in's architectural guidelines state that a sidewalk is to be in place, yet we don't have one and have been told it won't be built. I'm on a main and very busy street. Use our taxpayer money wisely, and address the needs and concerns of the people that pay the taxes.

Very disappointing that the community was not involved in this very costly decision that does not seem to serve a purpose other then to cost the town money that could defiantly be better utilized.
