The sheer weight of this support has finally forced the higher-ups to acknowledge that they cannot ignore our demands any longer. We have built a massive movement that refuses to go away quietly. Now we take this energy and force them to act.

You all claim to be a Christian school but fail to exemplify the qualities of such when the time calls for it. This is one of the most important moments of this young mans life but you all wish to take that away from him due to a mistake that is routinely made around this country and is a part of growing up. It's easy to claim to be of Christian affiliation, but it takes a lot more to prove it with your actions. I emplore you to take the route of a little more courage and to prove your Christian values with grace in this particular situation.
I don't know much about what happened, but I do know the family and Patrick as well. We all make bad choices in our lives and if we feel convicted, we repent and I assume Patrick has done just that. Our God is a God of grace and we are to show grace as well. I know people that have done absolutely terrible things in life and only because of Gods grace are they able to talk about it and proclaim Gods goodness. I myself have made terrible mistakes and if it wasn't for Gods grace, I would not be where I am today. I pray he walks in graduation this Friday with his pilgrim family by his side and that he holds his head high because of the forgiveness and grace he has received.
Our God is a forgiving God! When He forgives us He forgets the sin! How can anything less be done for this young man! Pilgrim Academy should let him walk with his class and graduate with his class! Is the Academy less forgiving than The Lord???? I hope not!!! This decision may affect this young man's life for many years ahead I hope Pilgrim Academy realizes this!!! Prayerfully, Eldora Olley
1 mistake shouldn't determine the rest of our life...people make mistakes and yes they should pay for them but this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to walk and he should be allowed to.
I agree that he should be allowed to walk because he's been here just as long as I have.
Continuing to pray!

Please set a forgiving example, this is such a learning time for this young person. Please he needs to be with his class. I was un aware and this saddens me. Please let this child participate.
