The poison used to kill the pigeons are killing other birds also. The poison and the excrement may also kill other animals and children. People walk on it and may take it in their homes. This is irresponsible.

It's getting severely outrageous at the fact that such things are legal when they are so harmful to most everything it touches! If you have any compassion for dogs, cats, and even people this wouldn't even be a consideration as to use such a heinous issue.

Avitrol is gross. Dead birds everywhere and the poisoned corn as well, which pets will pick up.

VERY happy to sign your petition! I'm from San Francisco but now live in Denver where there is still a "If you don't like it, kill it" mentality. I've witnessed the horrors of Avitrol poisoning due to all of the pigeons I've rescued over the years and it's so sad to watch as I try to give them comfort before they die, often too late to get to a vet. Equally revered and reviled, they're just trying to live like the rest of us and they or any other living being does not deserve this especially when there are so many humane alternatives. Just look at the European methods, they do work. Thanks for looking at the big picture in all of this.
