There are some prisons that do not provide the opportunity for inmates to take pictures nor do they allow pictures with their loved ones when they visit and of course cameras are not allowed into the prison. If your loved one will be incarcerated for a long time their appearance will change. If it is your child and they are incarcerated at a young age, they will inevitably grow into a man or woman and you will have not only missed this transformation up close and personally but you will also have NO PICTURES to look back on. We are asking that every prison provide the inmates with the opportunity to take pictures on a yearly basis and the opportunity for family/friends to take pictures during visitationat the expense of either the inmateor their families.
